The theme of the 23rd BIS Annual Conference was "Navigating uncharted waters: opportunities and risks for central banks". The sessions focused on risks and opportunities from artificial intelligence, sustainable investment in green finance, geopolitics and the macroeconomy as well as monetary policy in the post-Covid environment. The closing panel discussed the last decade of monetary policy.
