CGFS - Organisation and governance
The CGFS reports to the Global Economy Meeting (GEM). As the CGFS's oversight body, the GEM, with support from the Economic Consultative Committee, appoints the Chair, receives the Committee's reports and decides on publication, and provides guidance on work priorities.
Regular meetings of the CGFS are held on the occasion of four of the bimonthly meetings of Governors of BIS member central banks.
The CGFS establishes time-limited working groups to undertake work on specific topics.
