Finalisation of various technical amendments

This document sets out various technical amendments to the Basel Framework. The amendments relate to: (i) the standardised approach to credit risk; and (ii) cryptoasset exposures. The amendments were published for consultation in July 2024 and have been finalised as originally proposed. Basel Committee members have agreed to implement the technical amendments set out in this document as soon as practical and within three years at the latest. The technical amendment to SCO60.80 will be implemented as part of the final cryptoasset exposures standard, ie from 1 January 2026.

Technical amendments are defined as changes in standards that are not substantial in nature but that cannot be unambiguously resolved based on the current text.
