Bertrand Legros - Deputy Secretary General

Bertrand Legros became Deputy Secretary General of the BIS in February 2017.

Mr Legros joined the BIS in 2005 as a risk analyst and became Head of Risk Methodology in 2006. From 2011 until 2014, he was Head of Business Applications in the Information Management Services department, where between 2014 and 2015 he was Head of Architecture and Applications. He was also Head of Corporate Security from 2015 to 2021.

Before joining the BIS, Mr Legros worked at various firms in Brussels, Luxembourg and Geneva.

Mr Legros holds a master's degree in civil engineering from the Université de Liège, an MBA from Vlerick Business School, and a master's and PhD from IE Business School.
